Rocky and Thread, I left a message with the PR department at DataPlay to learn if the diskette fits into a CF slot or if a separate disk drive needs to be incorporated into the host device. I hope to post later today if I get a response to the inquiry.

My gut instinct tells me this is yet another try at a Clik! like device and it will likely have the same fate. My theory continues to be that disks follow slots and right now there are millions of CF slots floating around waiting to be filled...

...with CF cards, of course.

If IBM can create a self contained storage device which uses rotating media and needs to submit a request for an amended CF slot in order to accomodate the spindle mechanism...

...how the hell is a small upstart going to cram all that technology into a standard CF slot?
