I too find it bothersome that JDSU and many other solid companies have been stung in this most recent sell-off. I think a few things factored into this slide.

1) Yeah....we were due as the Nasdaq was very rich

2) Although I don't think the rate increase have hurt us yet, I do think the have been a bit rapid.

Having said that, I think the real blame is with Institutions. The took advantage of fear that started with AJC'S comments last week and shorted people right out of their positions. It was theft by margin call if you were not nimble enough to avoid the drop. I took my lumps but the key in keeping them to just lumps instead of all destruction was owning my stocks and not being margined.
