Jim,

Just looking at the numbers for AMD. Today's information suggested that AMD 1st quarter sales over 4th quarter sales will go from $969M to $1.06B. Looks like about a 10% increase, great! (of course flash is in those numbers, very hot right now) At the same time, AMD's stock price has gone from about $30 to about $70, for a 133% increase, also great!

Do you have any ideas on GM's +/-, investment income, R&D expense, tax rate, or other expenses that are involved with a company that makes a profit? I'm excited (for you) that AMD earnings will justify the 133% increase in the stock price, and certainly more after the earnings are out.

It is, sort of, interesting, that they didn't announce an increase in earnings today, only in revenue. But don't worry, things look great!
