"If something is good"... to whom? In whose opinion? You've just moved the argument back a step. People- as we see demonstrated everyday- have various and conflicting notions of "good". Thus the things that contradict "good" are in themselves contradictory.

It is expedient to go along, which is what most people do with laws- is that "good"? It depends- in Nazi German was it "good" that the citizens went along? It's easier to say that people jsut go along- it's neither good nor evil, they simply want to exist in the least strenuous position possible- not ALL people, there will always be agitators, for whom agitation is good, but for most people following the law is "easy"- if you want to define that as good or moral, go right ahead, but I can't possibly agree with you.
