Thanks for your update Denise! It has been awhile since you read your chicken bones for us on this thread.

I know you have seen this already, but for those who haven't, here is a copy of a post from someone over on StockHouse BullBoards who heard Don Sandford (NSI's President) speak today. By the way, this poster was one of the people who showed up at the Roxbury for a Pre-Special Meeting get together on March 20th.

Here is the post . . .

I attended the meeting of CIPS (Canadian Information Processing Society) today. Don Sanford was the guest speaker. The following are new things I heard from his talk.

1. He confirmed Answers.com has a very large industrial customer that they are currently doing work for. Details of who this customer is and the extent of the work should be released very soon.

2. He referred to Virtual Republic.com. He mentioned this may not be the final name, but it is the Internet Exploere Society and other communities that could do work on the net. He did not say it was another IPO candidate, but he explained how it would generate revenue and provide services to customers. It sure looked like an IPO candidate to me.

3. He mentioned that NSI found 100,000 of pieces of information in one day with 500 workers. The cost of the information was only pennies per piece.

4. In response to a question about funding .com companies in Calgary, he said it was difficult because of all the taxes implications, and it is much easier in the US. He mentioned he would far sooner have Idealab, GE Capital or some other companies as partners. I wonder what connection GE Capital has.

Overall I found the information to be very interesting. I think people at the meeting were suprised by the speed and cost that NSI is able to extract information. The ability to provide real time customer feed back was also well received.

I am more convinced that ever, that NSI will be a very large success in the vey near future. I think we will see an anouncement in the near future. When the announcement comes, we will all enjoy the ride.

Patience for now.

Thanks, D, both for the TA and for your earlier post discussing how NSI's technology makes the AppCo potential what it is.

Weak hands out, now let's get on with business!

Cheers
