sector, that very well could be. regardless, they were good announcements, over a 2 day period when the stock was getting slammed... i think they would have rather waited until they could give more details than to have rushed them out the way they did...

Not that we aren't beating this one to death, but has anyone thought about the FOCI merger re: MRV stock price? The acquisition was for stock and cash based on stock price close of the 18th of FEB. I don't know what that was, but if we keep sliding, we may have to come up with more cash! Only an argument for those who think the recent announcements are "timing". I'd really hate to see this deal fall apart b/c the sagging price of the stock. We need FOCI to be a serious JDSU competitor. Anyone know when we might close on this FOCI deal? Are the FOCI folks still happy with the merger plans? Mike
