So how exactly did you develop such a dislike for them? Do you think they do the average investor a disservice somehow, or that their goals are selfish? Sure, they stand to profit from their business, but I've never seen them collectively fail to present a consistent and sensible message. They obviously give some reign to their own writers, and some have questioned the intelligence of their AMZN purchase if not, for that matter, the ownership of AOL and CRA. Their best message is the toughest one to get through to their readers, and that is to make your own investment decisions. Even if that means not investing in stocks, or investing only in the S&P500.
