What interests me from Bosco's summary is:

That '2.5 Billion sale of GT' is what brought about the sell off this last week.

Ok I agree, but the WHOLE company now is worth only 2.5 Billion right now, right today, right here. So after a worst case sale of GT, I guess we get the rest of CNC for free?

Hi TD - the similiarity ends at the near death experience :). Mind you, in hindsight, the banking sector was in disarray and it was almost impossible that C would go the way of Ch 11. More, then, C has a white knight with a decent moral core [my assumption.] CNC is a sore thumb in a sector doing swimmingly. CNC may have a gray knight, at the expense of the common folks. I admit all these are likely priced into the stock --- and then some. OTOH, with the market like this, CNC is fighting for oxygen!
