RE:"Process Boy won't be posting anymore. Last time I heard from him, he was promoted to a PHB (Pointy-Haired Boss) position. So I guess Process Boy just became Process Man"

This is a major disappointment. I really like Process Boy.
OTOH, why can't he still post?

Jim

Tenchusatsu,

<<the successes of AMD and Intel must be mutually exclusive>>

Believe it or not, many Intel supporters believe the same thing. I don't understand why so many people believe success for AMD and Intel is mutually exclusive.

Almost all industries support more than one successful supplier. GM can make money when Ford does. MCI is quite profitable when AT&T is making money. McDonalds isn't putting Wendy's out of business. Coke and Pepsi haven't managed to destroy each other. There is more than one DRAM maker. There is more than one FLASH maker. There is more than one hard drive supplier. I could go on and on.

AMD and Intel can both do great. Athlon will not destroy Intel. Willamette will not destroy AMD. Sledgehammer will not destroy Intel. And so it goes.

BTW, it's really a shame that PB won't be with us anymore. I always enjoyed his posts (and yours too BTW!).

Mike

Awww man. That sucks. I enjoyed his posting even though I didn't necessarily agree with him.
