No Michael. I just tell the contractor, whatever unit is the industry standard, and whatever measurements are generally popular, use them. What's so hard about this?

PS: Similarly, I would like my money manager to use general risk assessment models in use in the market at large. If (s)he claims ignorance, or refuses to do so, (s)he does not get my money.

And I am not going to use their risk models in any way. I code to open standards, not propreitory standards.
