Yes, it's a GW issue. The space segment supports users up to about 70N, if they're within range of a GW. When you look at coverage maps, for example at G* Canada's site and see the coverage area bending south in NW and NE N.America, it's because of the GW locations.

Thanks to all posters with anecdotal evidence of sales and performance. It's good to see the marketing dept. taking our advice and offering some incentives (albeit 6 months and several billon $s late). I HOPE THE COMPANY LISTENS TO OUR SCREAMING DIRECTIVE TO GET HITCHED WITH THE GM ONSTAR OR SIMILAR SYSTEM. If they need any direction, perhaps Charlie Ergen and send them a play out of his playbook.

Anybody heard of the service providers/partners increasing their investment in G*?? If this is such an awesome business opportunity, why don't they pony up some funds at these discount prices?? They could do like the rest of us and lower their average purchase price.

It's encouraging to see the stock firm a little; perhaps we've reached a near term low. I expect future bumps however, when the miniscule subscriber numbers are released. More FUD will surface from Wall Street and money will hit the sidelines. I'm afraid a heavy dose of patience will be required for this investment, something the street is not known for. My kudos to mgmt for the recent gateway turn-ups, just need those promotions and heavy marketing to continue. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!
