Hi Walt,
my personnal feeling is that we established a major
bottom yesterday. I think earnings will be very strong
and propel stocks much higher going forward. I see no
obvious reason why we should revisit lows in May... Anyway,
I am currently fully invested and yesterday reached what
I consider my max margin % which is about 15% of my
equity portfolio. I, for one, have had more success buying
and holding long term (more than 1 year). I am always
fully invested and sometimes even go on small margin (like
yesterday) when Nasdaq dips more than 10% from its highs.
It has worked very well for me during the last 3 years.
regards,
Trilobyte
