I'd much rather attract buying based on a fundamental change in the company's revs/earnings than have stock price momentum caused by some perceived institutional following or a buy recommendation.

If the fundamentals continue to support the company with stellar earnings as a follow up, then as an investor, what is wrong with an initiation of coverage ahead of those stellar revs/earnings and get to those levels in a shorter amount of time? Afterall, the object of investing is to gain the maximum amt of profit in the shortest amt of time. If it was not, I would be investing in Boeing right now in anticipation of the launch of personal spaceships used to ferry people between Earth and Mars in the year 2050.
