Is It The Real Deal?
Friday, March 31, 2000 - 09:00 AM ET

New York -- "The Real
Deal" is back! This is
your chance to let our
experts evaluate your
old stuff and decide
whether it's junk or
gems. We've teamed up
with The Auction
Channel. On Friday's
Early Show we'll kick
off the series, which will
be airing regularly
through the fall.

We'll be looking at collectibles and some
not-so-collectibles and we'll tell you what makes these
items valuable. Our experts from The Auction Channel will
examine items we've collected and then tell us what they
might fetch at an auction and what similar items have
sold for at auctions. The owners of the pieces we're
featuring will also be on hand to share the stories and
the history behind their prized possessions.

ITEMS SCHEDULED TO BE FEATURED ON MARCH 31

Animator Chuck Jones' drawings ? (Chuck Jones
created Pepe le Pew, Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner,
and he was an animator for the Grinch, Daffy Duck,
Elmer Fudd, Porky Pig and Elmer Fudd).

A Mork and Mindy Radio

Puff Daddy's Yearbook (yearbooks with famous
people pictured have become extremely
collectible). Things to look for with yearbooks: who
owned it, whether it's signed by the famous person
and the condition.

Fruit Labels (original fruit labels used on crates to
ship fruit).

3 Little Pigs Toys (anything Disney is extremely
collectible).

If you would like to get your "stuff" on "The Early Show"
for future segments please e-mail us with your name,
phone number and a description of the item you'd like to
submit or write to us at:
