Re: "Maybe Jerry is sandbagging again. Hummm..."

I think he was miss quoted. I read somewhere else that they had met their goal of at least 1.2 million, meaning it could be more. My take is that it better be more or AMD has a serious problem.

Jim, <Maybe Jerry is sandbagging again.>

This late in the cycle? Yeah, right.

Then again, I'm still wondering why AMD preannounced so late. With official earnings release so close, why not wait until then?

By the way, I agree with Elmer. I think the figure of 1.2M Athlons was a goal line that AMD surpassed. But if 1.2M is an actual number and not a previously stated goal, then that would be rather weak.

Jim,
Dear fellow missionary to iNhELland! In your effort to win souls for AMD, let them know that Mysef has been buying AMD @ 16, 20, and 28. However, any price below $500 is a bargain. Show them the charts for AMD and INTC.

Why are they still in love with INTC? Go figure......

Make it so,
Mysef
