Here's a lighter view of the current markets. Look for small upside move Thursday, with a rally Friday. Why you ask? The temp will be in the high 60's and sunny on Friday in New York, and unseasonally warm across the rest of the nation. Hey the world can't end on a sunny day! I think we are in the process of flushing out the no earning (earnings!earnings! WE don't need no &&$#$ EARNIGS! <G>) high flying tech stocks, so hang on for a crazy April and May and a nice run up on the quality stocks this summer. Moneyguy "money talks! QQQ - a good barometer for Nasdaq, is skating on its 5day MA. siliconinvestor.com Example of what can happen when a momentum stock gets broken, and QQQ is certainly a momentum stock. siliconinvestor.com siliconinvestor.com siliconinvestor.com You could pretty much overlap these charts without the numbers and you would see the same thing. Tremendous downside momentum with the 5day MA acting as closing resistance and 10 day MA acting as intraday resistance. The scary thing is that a stock like EXLN and CRA began downtrending in early March, while QQQ's trend only broke last week.
