You know you've fallen in love with a stock when: 1. You feel that the MM's are manipulating it when the price does not go up. 2. Wall Street doesn't understand it. 3. CNBC is biased against it. 4. Anybody who doesn't feel the same way as you do is an ignorant idiot who is certainly short the stock, and should be violently attacked and insulted. 5. Good news is greeted as utterly fantastic news. All new initiatives, acquistions, spinoffs or IPO's are genius-level undertakings that will make us all rich. Bad news is either spun into good news or ignored. 6. Company management is infallible and not to be questioned. 7. You post countless times a day on company message boards with like-minded individuals. 8. You continually site that your stock has been the best performing stock on the NASDAQ over the past 5 years, which in your mind justifies that it will continue to perform in this way. All this being said, I remain a shareholder. Getting tougher every day though.
