Which Amazon.com are you talking about? It has many different business models! I loved the quote from an Amazon Executive where he said that "We're not going to slavishly adhere to our business model as new opportunities..." or something like that. I, of course, bearishly translated that as "Everything we've done so far has failed, so we're going to try something else, bigger and more ambitious of course to entice more fools to buy our [expletive deleted by Washington Post]."
