Thestreet.com reported that those rumors were groundless.

Be fair. At TheStreet.com Cramer states that it's his opinion that this is a short-seller rumor and reports that the company denied it.

Don't worry,

We know they do this every quarter.
It's called a BEAR RAID! Given the action in the markets over the past few weeks they think they can get away with it. Simply go back one quarter and look at all the trash that we had to put up with because CSCO was not going to make earnings last quarter. They like to throw out all the FUD at or near or in the quiet period when the company is less prone to say anything. We all know what the outcome was last quarter and for many other in the past. The bears were slaughtered when CSCO started running.

Let the Bears rant,
Once again I will welcome them to the CSCO Bear trap.
May we all enjoy Bear steaks once again <ggg>.

Regards,
