Thanks to you and a few others for some intelligent posts here finally. I have been in XYBR since May 1998 at around $5/share when I first heard of them on CNBC. I don't post here very often, but I have a few times in the past.

I consider this stock speculative, but with a truly tremendous niche and with truly tremendous appreciation possibilities-even on the order of some of the computer gorillas such as Dell, Compac and others.

Last year I tried one on at a Nuclear convention at the Long Beach Convention Center and was quite impressed. The field engineer(I believe that was his title) using it and showing it around told me he thought within 1-3 years this stock should fly with all they had in the works and the patents--I tend to agree with him. I'm just hoping that this could be the next Dell or Qualcom or who knows, but I'm not saying I'm betting the farm on it with all of my savings. I have a fair amount invested in XYBR, but if it is the next Qualcom or Dell who knows this could be my retirement. It's not easy picking a Qualcom or such until they've become a Qualcom or such if you get my drift.

I recently noticed that in the recent XYBR profile on yahoo that the number of employees is significantly up from the prior 50 or 51 as I remember to 78 as of 12/99. That's a significant increase--gearing up for something? Also I was recently called by a Xybrer rep or pr guy(since I have called and talked to them in the past) about attending a showing of their products coming up in I believe May or so in Virginia, but I'm unable to go. What was interesting though was that I asked him specifically if the computer that is on the guy on the bench in the IBM commercial is a Xybernaut computer and his response was that "he couldn't comment on it"------------not no or I don't know or such, but that he couldn't comment!!! I found that quite interesting. Has anyone else called Xybernaut and specifically asked the same question? I'm curious on any others responses to this question.

Anyway--good luck to us longs and gooooo XYBR !!!

Hello rrufff,

A couple of comments ...

First, I want to thank you for your "posting spirit" and the determination that you have shown on this thread. On top of that I have found a lot of very useful information in your posts! I have to say that it is the community of people (and a wide range of opinions!) that help to "flesh-out" perspectives on technologies and companies. So, thank you in return!

;-) I *have* talked to a couple of their sales folks ... we are hoping to use the MA IV for our presentation ... actually a couple of them. But have no formal or informal relationship with them. If they are interested in more contact, I'd love to see where I might be able to help them out. This is some very cool stuff ...

I know that I could learn a lot from them also ... I like to bring a different perspective to companies where ever possible. Thanks for the kind words ...

So I am working on my web site ... I keep hoping that I'll pull it together, but other projects seem to get into the way.

I *did* make some moves today to enter into some stocks in the wireless LAN area ... 802.11b is about to become a very strong player in short-range, high-speed wireless. I'm actually using it at home at the office ... 11Mbps and no more ethernet cables to the laptop!

Lucent is one of the sources of the semiconductors (I already own them from *way* back ...) and I recently picked up Intersil (ISIL) the other chipset vendor. ISIL was spun off by Harris (HRS) and is providing the chips to Nokia, Nortel, Aironet (bought by Cisco), Samsung, Siemens, and a list of others. This is the same technology that Steve Jobs incorporated into all the iBook products ...

I'm going to start a thread about this area in the next day or two ... I'm pulling together a bunch of DD to put in the initial post ...

As for you, please keep up the great posts! It's been fun reading and watching ... I'm looking forward to XYBR moving forward ...
