Mag, I'm afraid to offer advice. Not that too well versed. Surely someone will be along shortly. If I were to guess it would be to re-boot a couple times. Will you be OK til' markets close?

Seems to be WAR between AOL, MS and a few others at this time. Afraid we are caught in crossfire<G>.

have you tried running win98's 'system file checker'? just a thought...

here's the clickstream in case you haven't been there

start|programs|accessories|system tools|system info|tools|system file checker

and while you're at it, might as well try 'registry checker' too.

Magnatizer, your M problem: it may have something to do with the 'auto complete' function available in IE. Try turning it off. I'm just guessing here.
