I see your point, and agree. Have seen other opinions around, as well, about the risks with paying an enormous lot of money just for the licenses, without knowing whether you then ever will be able to make the other necessary investments to get the business running when the time comes.
Maybe we now again can return to a nice steady rise in the stock price which was interrupted about at the time Sonera went into the expensive and risky bidding game.

The stock recovered nicely today (6/4) at Helsinki SE: +18.05% (NASDAQ: +12.33%). One reason for this could be the drop out of from the UK 3G license auction. Another may be their announcement of extended virus protection services to the corporate customers of its data services:
