I read Warren Buffet and Ken Fisher's books last two days and am convinced that the moody market is giving a hell of an investment opportunity to long term investment community.
I told several of my investor friends to buy more softy. I am confidant a few weeks to months from now they will thank me for this bold recommendation.

A) I don't trust my retirement account to a bunch of lawyers or the government.
B) I don't think pursuing a case like this will hurt the market or MS in the long run.
C) It's always easy to look backwards and say what makes the markets move or not move. Truth of the matter is that I am already above where I was on the day where everyone's retirement was "wiped out" (except on MSFT, I am down about 1/4%).
D) People ARE fickle, and hopefully they will vote the dems out of office. If this (MS/DOJ tussle) helps, then its a good move for all (even those that don't realize it is good).
E) MS does use strong armed tactics that need to be addressed, and they are.
F) Tuesday is the 1st day I have ever owned MS in my life, and I am quite enthusiastic about its prospects (although not quite as enthusiastic as johnd).
G) Thanks for the reply!
