The April 2000 issue of the magazine OnlineInvestor has an article titled "Foreign Shares Arrive Online". The article is on Intltrader. The problems with Intltrader are all covered in a previous post.

I did find a few things interesting with the article.

"Previously, online buyers of international stocks faced a circuitous route with shares offered indirectly in the form of "ADRs" - American depository receipts. With most brokers, investors contend with delayed quotes numbered in foreign currencies, but Intltrader provides free real-time quotes to account holders and for both foreign and domestic markets. Round-the-clock global trading from a home computer remains a thing of the future, however, as Intltader executes orders only during U.S. market hours"

I guess nobody has told them about SEG's services yet<gggg>

Best Regards
