scotty, i know, lame duck president election years do NOT have a good market goosing record. however, this is Bubba we're talking about. he needs Bore to win to get a presidential pardon, otherwise he might face some jail time once out of office. so you have this lying manipulating cynical admin, with a conniving bunch of WS firms and the Fed firmly in its pocket, and that leads to the logical conclusion that the market will be propped up at ANY price.
