So if I merely brandish my fist in your face, that's okay?

<<If not, where do we as a society draw the lines?>> Where there is overwhelming evidence that the risks far outway the potential to benefit; and where claims of benefits prove spurious. All of us can look back over a twenty year time slot and find that nearly every one in this country has been effected in tragic ways by this problem. The list of people who can claim doping has given them a good quality of life over the past 20 years are either currently high, selling, or they have been living this lifestyle for a short term period.

The myth of romance by wining and dining to the high life is very ingrained in our culture and has a significant baring on everyone's personal history. The need to hold on to fairy tales has more to do with supporting this than anything else, IMO.
