MyTrack has very low minimums....I would suggest just open an account with 1K or 2K and try it for yourself. If I did not trade, I would still use for their quotes, scans, alerts, news.... Alot depends upon what style you use. I have had no problems wiring $$ in or out, and also started with only a few "K" to try.

For this stage of their growth, they are handling it better than CERES (AMTD) did a few years ago. Alot of the problems for those of us that buy OTC-BB's are coming from HRZG, time will tell how this gets resolved.

The best aspect is this system is a very economical use of screen space, with tremendous amounts of charting and fundamental info just a click or two away (no changing to new web page...).

IMO, a lot of the frustration is because the system is so nice when it works...kind of like having a Ferrari (sp?) with a flat tire - what a waste of horsepower !!

This is just the view of a BB trader (not much NAS, and only position plays).

I am glad I tossed a few K in and opened an account, the good has outweighed the bad by far for me.....Jerry

Mytrack used to be great, My friends swear by it. And I have cut way down on my trading after I moved there. The only problems I saw before was the routing to herzog, who tries to make a market in the stock and you end up loosing if they cant make money cause they broadcast their sell order and other MM's seeing it will sell/short the shares first and then go on the best inside bid to buy your sell order cheaper. So its better if you sell it yourself in parts rather than have them do it. You pay more in commisions, but you end up selling at yoru price than a 1/4 or 1/2 lower.. for a 100 shares thats 250-500 bucks.. splitting it into 4-5 trades cost you 60 bucks.. ofcourse in a high volume stock this is not such a problem.

If they just fix some of these minor problems and inform the customers a little more I think they have a kick ass system. But as it is right now, I am having night mares and chest pains.

The main part is keeping the customer informed on what is happening. Which is why I am having migraines now too. Usually it is not a problem as the hosts are able to explain all the little problems or help you work them out.

Well time to go on vacation soon anyway.

myTrack used to be the best.... until the money and success went to their heads... management could care less if the system works at all or not... they are just trying to figure out a way to get their own stock (TRAC) over $10 again so they can split it and make more money.

I trimmed myTrack down and only use for NASDAQ trading... this week, NASDAQ trading has been screwed up as well.
I am done with it.

Tom

download the software (free) - hang out in the daytraders room for a few days - thats the best way of finding out; or try the contest to see how the software works.
