MAXY, yes, I'm familiar. Read this:
thestreet.com

" Zaffaroni has co-founded four billion-dollar biotechnology companies and, in his late 70s, continues to create wealth for shareholders at a rate that few, if any, peers can match. "
"Zaffaroni's latest two inventions -- Maxygen (MAXY:Nasdaq - news - boards)
and Symyx Technologies (SMMX:Nasdaq - news - boards) -- could ultimately be the best fruits of a sturdy family tree."

Maxy gapped up very strongly this morning and is pulling back.
It may actually be a good buy here if the biotechs rise again tomorrow.

So many to choose from and so little time to be choosy.

AMT, CLNT and UCOMA:

AMT and CLNT held up relatively well during the recent downdraft. CLNT is trading at a new 52 wk high today. Also another long-termer for me: UCOMA is off substantially from it's highs, is having a nice recovery today.
