I give up..If you actually think everything you just said has anything to do with people publishing bogus whisper numbers, than so be it. Most of what you said I agree with, but still has nothing to do with the hypesters hiding behind whisper numbers. It has everything to do with it. I just said Whisper Numbers don't affect price growth, at best they affect volatility and only for a short time. What would happen if the whisper numbers for GNET were $1.30 a share? The stock would probably soar to about $160 .. and that would just be in the first day those whisper numbers came out. .. then when earnings were released, it would "crash" back down to around this level. Which is where it would be at if the whisper numbers had never been released in the first place. Or maybe a bit higher. Or lower. You can't tell me with any degree of certainty whatsoever that the stock would be better or worse off because of the release of that whisper number. Unless you're a trader you should probably be ignoring such volatility. Traders should be very concerned with short-term irrational price movements, hype, and "disappointments" in the form of fantastic earnings, because these are due to market psychology and not fundamentals. And let me tell you it is far easier to invest based on mathematics than on psychology. GNET's price action deserves skepticism for almost every reason under the sun, but not because of Whisper Numbers. Believe me, sir, they are meaningless. -G
