I'm not into spreading rumors IN PUBLIC until they're fact. However, here's some fact: Decimalization For Aces Pass-Thru CTCI In OTCBB Securities Will Start April 17, 2000 Head Trader Alert #2000-25 Due to scheduling conflicts, the release that will enable Aces Pass-ThruSM to accept orders with decimal pricing via Computer-to-Computer Interface (CTCI) for OTC Bulletin Board© (OTCBB) issues, originally scheduled for Monday, March 27, 2000, has been rescheduled. The new implementation date is Monday, April 17, 2000. Weekday testing began on February 22, 2000, and is still available. To schedule a weekday test time, please call the API/CTCI Testing Center at (800) 288-3783, and leave a message. An analyst will return your call promptly to schedule a testing date and time. Aces Pass-Thru order-entry firms that route orders via CTCI must review the format of their Aces Pass-Thru Cancel/Replace messages to ensure that they comply with the CTCI specification. As outlined in the CTCI specification, Section 8.2.2, Line 7 includes the Order Qualifier and Time-in-Force of the original order. Please note, the Time-in-Force of the original order is a required field and must be transmitted with the Cancel/Replace message. Please review your messages to ensure that they comply with this specification. In addition, this release includes the deletion of obsolete functionality from Aces Pass-Thru screens located on the Nasdaq Workstation II© (NWIITM). Please refer to the Aces Pass-Thru Decimalization Update, which includes detailed descriptions and screen changes. If you have any questions regarding this information, please contact Karen Peterson, Nasdaq© Product Development, at (212) 858-4137.
