I don't think that's correct. An Goldman analyst who makes a reco to a Goldman client is libel. Especially if Goldman acts in bad faith by selling while telling their clients to buy. Of course, all this is moot if the price target is actually met. IC

I agree with your point. But, I also see in this thread and elsewhere people touting Analyst's Rec., Upgrades and increased price targets when it is their stock. Moral of the story is to do our own DD.
