[B] Fed Briefing: System repos add average $22.121 bln in week

New York--Apr 6--System repurchase agreements added $22.121 billion on
a daily average basis in the latest week, according to Fed data.

During the latest statement week, the Fed temporarily added reserves
via 28-day repos on Thursday, weekend repos on Friday, and overnight repos
on Monday and Wednesday.
As of Wednesday, there were a total of $21.555 billion outstanding,
representing the 60- and 90-day repos from Feb 9, the 28-day repos from
Mar 27, the 28-day repos from Thursday and Wednesday's overnight RP.
Also, a Fed spokesman said there was no large net miss in reserve
projections in the latest week.

According to the Fed data:

PORTFOLIO:
--A $1.47 billion decrease in the Fed's bill portfolio, of which
$1.272 billion was solely due to matched sale-purchase transactions and
the remaining $198 million was due to bill redemptions.
--The data also showed no change in note and bond holdings.
