I'm disappointed you think I would misinterpret your story.
I do understand what you are saying and appreciate your first hand knowledge.
I'm sure Intel gives excellent support.

OTOH, I will believe the Dell/AMD stories when I see Dell boxes with AMD inside.
Until then, they are just rumors...fun but speculative.
Dell is probably expecting the same support before they include AMD chips. Maybe AMD is learning what they need to do.

Interesting Burt, from what I understand of Dell. They will only buy from AMD if they believe the quality of product is high. Delivery being a big part of the "quality" equation.

It would be a very positive sign for AMD if Dell comes aboard. Not just because of the potential earnings, but because of what it says about the processes at AMD. And Dells belief in their management continuing those processes in the future.

Perhaps they have finally "balanced their scorecard"?
