Watch VH-1, Behind the Music. Almost all had their career derailed by an assortment of drugs.........Of course, rock stars are not the better sort of people.......LOL!

Recommend? No. For children? No. But for adults, of my acquaintance (and I'll grant you the people I know are not typical- they are highly educated, highly intelligent and affluent) I neither approve nor disapprove. I don't believe I ever mentioned drugs as a "family recreational" activity and in fact I specifically mentioned that children need to be protected from ALL substances that can adversely affect them because unlike adults (you MUST have noticed me saying that, so I wonder at your red herring here), they are not fully formed and are under the care and protection of adults. I, however, do not wish to live in a society that treats adults as children. Because if you start down that road you never know where Papa State is going to go.
