<Can't even muster up a decent apology after your fairly uncalled for post. Hmmm, not exactly what I would expect from a philosophy major. Too bad really.>

Grow up. I don't owe you anything. I fail to see the significance of your post except to pigeonhole me as a Bear and Gold Bug.

Yes, my preference is to see a Bear because I value equal opportunity in the Market Place, along with my concerns over valuations. But I'm quite flexible and I adapt very easily. I play Happy Bull very well with no problem if it is called for.

A few questions for you to answer if you can stop your childish whining:

1) Do you think that Bear Markets have been repealed? If not, when do you expect one to come? What levels do the NDX, S@P and Dow, have to break before you acknowledge that a Bear Market exists?

2) Now that you got a little taste earlier in the week of the stock market effect of a little margin debt being unwound, what do you expect to happen next? A rally to new highs? Or, further declines as more margin debt gets unwound?

3) What is your view of the record account and trade deficit? How do you think the unwinding of those deficits will affect the stock market?

4) What do you make of the most recent LEI coming in as -.3 when the affect of all these interest rate increases have not been impacted on the economy yet? Do you see a recession in the Year 2001? Or, do you think Greenspan will pull off another soft landing?

5) What do you make of the most recent prices paid component of the NAPM? Do you think that the US economy is headed toward stagflation in the coming year?

PS In the future, keep your posts to me Public. Do not PM me with your childish babble. If you have something intelligent to say, say it. Otherwise, move on.
