I know what I think is right for me. But I'm really not sure it would work for everyone. For example I don't rely on any magical thinking that I am AWARE of- I am not religious in any way. I am philosophical but completely non-mystical. That is good for me. I can still function happily in that manner- I am not convinced everyone could do so. I feel the same way about all legal and illegal drugs. Not everyone has my equilibrium- lots of people who drink are actually medicating themselves- same may be true of all drugs. Would those people be better off floundering around without the drugs? I don't know. I KNOW they aren't better off in prison. I KNOW that for sure. It's a waste of money and human lives. I'd like to see decriminalization tried- I KNOW I would like to see that- so there is an opinion. I can't tell you what the results will be, no one can.
