I just have a gut feeling. How is that for analysis?<g>

I just look to companies that are doing something that they have not done before. That is, the possibility of having sequently higher earnings than the December quarter. I don't believe NOK has done this in years. It is a sign of the company's dominance, IMHO.

I don't even see Ericsson or Motorola cell phones anymore. I used to see Qualcomm but they sold that business to Kyocera (or something like that). They have dominated this business like Intel did with the chips.

There is its other businesses and they are doing lots of deals to build out wireless networks.

I try to get a feel for whether this company has a chance to surprise to the upside--that is, surprise more than "expected". Sort of like beating whisper numbers.

I feel strongly that the earnings report will be strong and feel that people will bid up this stock just ahead of earnings. I believe it will outperform the PC related tech sector. I would expect more inflows to this stock.

That is about as logical I can get. My trading is usually a little irrational anyways.

I am just hoping to be right. I expect 70 to 75 post split before earnings. Just hope the Naz does not mess up that.
