CNet Investor, which falsely reports an alliance betwen Novell.Sun-Netscape and Lotus-- misunderstands what CNet proper eported earlier today: <<Software makers Novell, the Sun-Netscape Alliance, IBM subsidiary Lotus and others are building new IM software tailored for business use with new features such as increased security and audio and video capability.>> This was not an alliance, just a list of players in a trend story, but some dope at CNET Investor read it wrong. I seriously doubt that Lotus would ever team up with Netscape/Sun or Novell in the Messaging market. I sure hope Novell has some good news tomorrow. But Instant Messaging ain't it. Giac
