Society didn't press for school bussing, sex education, the teaching of homosexual acceptance classes to third graders in government schools, or the distribution of condomes. Overwhelmingly, Democrats did. They forced these issues down the throats of parents because they control a complete monopoly. Proof of this is the growing demand for private schools where parents are willing to PAY (sometimes big dollars) in order to give their kids a decent education. The NEA has been the most destructive force ever unleashed on America's children. They use their monopoly power to coerce, then extort teacher salaries in order to pay for Democratic votes in congress, in order to extend their power and influence over our children's social education. Why do you think Democrats are so afraid of giving parents a "choice" in education? I guess freedom is not important enough for Democrats like Al Gore. Michael
