Bio's---I hope not,, I took home a bunch of GENE and ARIA. Also, everyone check out CIEN. It is still cheap and is a premier Fiber Channel Switching company. The correction was a good opportunity to get this stock IMO.

We have seen the worst in biotech sector,IMO.
The biotech index might go sideway for a while due to profit
taking in the recent runup but by year 's end ,it will be
much higher.

West,
Imo the bio rally was twofold, the sector had already been trashed because of bill's remarks, then we had tuesday's Naz stunts, this set the stage for the "recovery".Then you had bill "clarify" his previous statements coupled with today's gene news, voila , bio's rally.

What I don't get is why so many on the thread seem surprised by the rally or by all the endorsments of big-cap-tech stocks (or at least high tech stocks with some revenue growth). Wasn't this the consperancy? Three weeks of anemic Naz performance designed to wear retail investers out, then get some of the big guns like abbey and co to voice disapproval, then some incredible Naz stunts to finally shake us all out,big money comes in picks everything up cheap and starts endorsing everything in sight. easy ;)

In all seriousness the rhetoric HAS been turned down a notch, I'm just waiting to see what happens at the next obstacle <missed earnings, words with china, badly cloned kids ya know something like that> Then we'll see how stable things really are.

Regards,
Mike

The biotech rally supposedly began because Clinton backed off his suggestion that patents be public; CRA just boosted enthusiasm more.
