Tell you the truth, I would just as soon lower the drinking age to 15 and raise the driving age to about 25.

Once many years ago, while hitchhiking in the west, I got a ride from a little old lady who was going into town to bail out her 19 year old grandson, who had been arrested for underage drinking (it was a state with a 21-year limit). To this day I remember her rant: "if a boy's old enough to join the service and die for his country, he's old enough to drink a glass of beer, OR whisky, if he wants it".

While fully comprehending the driving issue, I have to say there is something compelling about her logic.
