Thanks for the heads up on the "inside"poop.I bought MRVC
at the top of $186.00...obviously it has been a fast and relatively un-bumpy ride down. It's only been about a month, but what I like about this company is the focus on the fibre based components. JDSU is doing a really good job of getting a corner on this market. I believe that fibre through the switch is going to become a rapidly accepted
architecture approach simply because of the bandwidth. This is a rapidly upward bound market. With lots of room for other players. Besides.. the major customers will want multiple sources. Apparently ,Alcatel,"swallowed" the merger
of JDSU/ETEK.But other majors, may not be so compassionate.
I have been watching thier slide compared to RBAK,JNPR,PMCS,RBAK and a few others.None of them are back to thier price on a month ago. They are all in the red. This was before the slash and burn. They are coming back a lot faster than MRVC. But,when you consider the fact that this is a new emerging market,MRVC clearly is not as well known..I anticipate a bumpy ride back up. But given time they just might start to ramp.Besides..the investment community is still licking their wounds right now and need to heal up a little.I don'tlike to margin and am out of cash, but if I had some, I would come off the sidelines once and a while and start building my position..not to average my price but to get on this "show pony" and get into the race.
See ya
