Pravin,

I would hate to see Tenchusatsu scared off the thread.

Agreed. I wish PB could come back and post as well.

Joe

Pravin,

I agree wholeheartedly. My post was not to offend Tenchu, but to appreciate the humor that Steve's one liners provide.
I didn't mean any disrespect for Tenchusatsu.

Just the way I like Tenchusatsu (and PB) posts, I also like Steve's posts - he provides valuable links and FUD alerts with great humor. His posts don't contain any personal attacks, and I'm sure Tenchu has no problems with Steve's posts.

Pravin, you are taking it way too seriously ;) The only thing I could recall is that there were a lot of AMD posters driven away from this thread by Intel posters than the other way around.

I don't mind posts with contrarian views, but you have to differentiate between posts that spout their employer's party line vs posts with genuine information, concerns and opinions.

The one trick that was most often used on this thread was - provide one post with useful information to maintain credibility and then post 10 more with FUD.

I don't think any of the Intel posters (especially the employees of Intel) would stop posting here because of Steve or Scumbria or anyone else. If any Intel poster stops posting here - it'd be more to do with AMD performance, Athlon, Spitfire, Thunderbird, RAMBUS and Coppermine.

Don't be quick to discourage AMD investors and supporters on this thread (especially the long term posters that have gone through a lot of abuse) in order to have some posts with propaganda under the disguise of providing Information and contrarian views.

Steve provides a lot more investment related info than any other Intel poster here. From the Technical information point of view, I agree with you that Tench and PB have been valuable contributors (with their employer's partyline sprinkled here and there.)
