What hype and what firm ?

I don't share your negative opinion. I might report you for threatening people.

Pick one as being hype:

1) Bad news released during a major market correction
2) Earnings conference call is key
3) Tens of thousands of customers
4) Analysts earnings estimates are mere speculation because big orders can close at anytime
5) Institutional Investors place a high degree of importance on management.
6) Cheap based on trailing revenue and cash flow relative to its peers
7) Stock price should be up before good news is reported
8) Wall street looks out at least 6 months
9) Institutions recognize PMTC'S leadership position around the world. Quality will prevail.
10) Its unreasonable to use March, 2000 qtr. to forecast a trend
11) Y2k was a reasonable excuse for the Dec, 1999 qtr.
12) I am very bullish. Etc.

It's not really hype, JG. It's repetitive cheerleading, it's adding little to the discussion, and it's silly; but it's not strictly hype.

As for his being a licensed professional, there are all sorts of licenses and professional designations. He doesn't have to be working for any firm to be licensed to do something or other.
