I almost had a heart attack when I read this; In a telephone interview this week, the 83-year-old physician, who is chairman of drkoop.com, said he remains confident that the company has a future. "The public doesn't understand the kind of things auditors write in letters," Dr. Koop said. "When you get a 'going concern" letter, the average investor says that's a terrible thing. It doesn't mean that at all. The Internet is a brand new thing, and we don't know the rules yet."
