Hey Greg, When I first found Thompson I thought, "wow, cool!" Unfortunately, it turns out to be a very limited and sometimes misleading tool. As often as not, the price of XYZ will rise steadily during the day against a sea of red. Why is that? Selling/Buying "interest" messages (the soft shades) can show real intent, but I believe they are also used to mislead, or at least, test the underlying strength of any given security, particularly the less liquid. The super buys/sells are concrete orders, so no fudging there. To tell you the truth, about nine months ago I started using it as a contrary indicator for some trades. Made some decent money using it. Past results are no guarantee... BV
