CRA, Susan I see a gap back on December 17th that's yet to be filled. The longer it goes the less likely but stocks will often return to test the point of euphoria (gap from) on the next significant dip...impossible to set an exact rule but I always keep a wary eye on recent gaps.

Doesn't keep me from playing but I do watch 'em. SAWS had one today...preannounced great earnings...

Even if it has the need to fill it could very well break other rules first giving enough warning.

I notice CRA closed lower than the open.

Stan

SusanG: I'm glad you asked, 'cause I just happen to be a gap, map and lap expert. CRA had a big drop, a reversal day then yesterday's gap. The stock averaged 1.2m shares the past 65 days. Then volume went to 3m, 4.6m and 5.3m yesterday. This volume explosion is what you want to see. My best guess; you've got a trade...but don't stay too long at the fair. Take part, or all, of the trade. These are perilous times. (Lee)
