The internet has revolutionized contacting your U.S. Representative via e-mail. Of the seven U.S. Representatives from LA., two take e-mail from out of their district. So I emailed them. The rest require a zip+4, I'm sure to filter out e-mails from outside their district. My office and home are in two different Congressional districts. So I e-mailed them. I only had to snail mail the remaining three representatives.

One can't fight progress! Hopefully this includes internet gaming. I wonder how much the brick and mortar casinos are fighting this. I understand Hilton and even Microsoft have taken stakes in Australian casinos. This is going to be interesting.

Thanks for the up to the minute news.

This is the part of the Goodlatte bill that excludes a ban on internet lotteries? This was written out by the Pease amendment? Am I correct? Typical legalese mumbo-jumbo.

There were articles in the WSJ of a backlash against the government over the Microsoft prosecution. Also a poll showed a majority thinks the government should keep its mitts off the economy. This was mentioned on CNBC this AM. Maybe the Microsoft case will help us.
