Bruce, Holy (another deleted expletive)!!!! .38?!?!?!? The ratio itself is about to go into an inverse trick. I smell rat...that goes by the name, "The Fed". Sheez. A real bear market is not defined by a 3 or 4 week 25% drop. A real bear market is 9 months (give or take) of chinese water torture. Each drip comes in the guise of a possible buy signal that fails...thus becoming another sell signal. It may be the case that Greenspan feels a real bear market is now a necessary evil. The 24th can't come soon enough but it looks to me like the ratio has spoken. Doug R
