Morning again Dealer:

The midnight calls, threats, the bricks thrown through the window, the voodoo dolls sent anonomously through themail, the poison pen letter. These are the tools of the msrgin police. Did you ever notice that they come to harass whenver the market is turning around, but they insist that you take care of it immediately. With regards to changing margin requirements, I beleive that Schwab did that once with AOL (raised it from 50 to 60%. That put a damper on the momentum. I also find it interesting that whenever we experience these "corrections", it lasts JUST long enough to cause the brokerage firms to call in their markers, and make people pay their due. Only after that, does the markets return and the talking heads will say, "...yeah, tech stocks are the place to be (even though 3 days ago these same guru's proclaimed that tech is dead).

Go figure....

Best regards,

David
